IIYAN ARCHITECT was established on 2024 as a sole proprietorship Architectural Consultancy Practice based in Melaka. The practice specialises in practical space planning and architectural design with the aim of minimising cost while maximising long-term value.
As the practice progressed into higher-value projects, IIYAN C ARCHITECT SDN BHD was established on 2026, strengthening the practice's capacity to support larger and more complex developments.
Today, IIYAN ARCHITECT and IIYAN C ARCHITECT SDN BHD operate as registered Architectural Consultancy Practices with the Board of Architects Malaysia / Lembaga Arkitek Malaysia (LAM).

Ar. Yong Ii Yan comes from Melaka and graduated with both a Bachelor of Science in Architecture and a Master of Architecture from Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM).
He gained more than five years of experience working as a project architect with architectural firms in the Klang Valley, with involvement across factory, residential and commercial projects.
Upon passing LAM Part III, Ar. Yong Ii Yan returned to his hometown of Melaka and established his own architectural practice. He is currently the Principal Architect of IIYAN ARCHITECT and Architect Director of IIYAN C ARCHITECT SDN BHD.
As part of a new generation of architects, he draws on past experience while pursuing new approaches suited to an evolving built environment and construction industry.
